Seeking a fun, fast paper crafting project? Well, you know those free magnets you get from your hairdresser, bank, or perhaps the local auto shop? Pretty boring right? Well, why not make them a little more stylish? You could even make it to match your kitchen decor! For this particular one I used two-sided paper, which automatically makes it easier since you know it will match. The two flowers, which by chance matched the paper so well, are Jolee's dimensional stickers. To top it all off, there's a small stamped saying attached with a mini pink brad. I also separated the paper with 3-D dots to give it some depth. If you can't find these free magnets, or if you're simply looking for stronger ones, they can easily be found at your local craft store.

Blush Crush
I really do love the delicate pear like shape of the briolette. Which is why I designed this choker with pastel and clear pink ones. Interspersed between these are silver cast flower beads from Blue Moon Beads. It is strung on two separate wires, I always use Beadalon 19 strand solid silver because it is really strong, and the last bead is strung on both wires simultaneously to hold it in place. The focal point is a medium sized dichroic glass bead which charmingly brings the colors all together.

Prelude
Salutations!
I wanted to take a moment to give you a general idea of what this blog will be about before jumping into any real posts. For those of you who may not know, Objet d'art is defined as an object of artistic worth. Because I sometimes create rather bizarre things, I've decided to do a little play on words. I know, i know, another pun into todays punorama media world? Ehh, whatcha gonna do?
I create a collection of things like jewelry, stamping projects, card making, sketches, knitting, etc. Basically anything that can be concocted with glitter or beads. Hopefully these pages will inspire you to make something fun as well. Enjoy!
